Hi!

I have a laptop with XP Home Edition. Recently I wanted to burn some CDs,
but when I installed my old Iomega USB CD burner, XP told me that the
software, CD Creator 4, would make XP unstable and therefore blocked loading
the drivers.

Fine, so I uninstalled the software. But now I still get the "drivers
blocked" message every time I boot.

How do I get this off the computer?

Thanks,
Ed

Hardik,

Thank you very much. That worked fine. I wish the error message from XP
would have directed me to that!

That leaves some 'orphaned' entries in registry. To tidy up, get a
registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry and reboot

You will then need to reinstall burning software in an XP compatible
version. As Easy CD 7 has just come out you might pick up version 6
cheaply
