Windows xp Auotmatic System Recovery Disk

My Gateway PC went blank. So I inserted the
Installation/restoration cd and booted up from the cd. I
got a prompt telling me to insert the "Windows 3-1/2"
Automated System Recovery Disk. I never got a 3-1/2 "
floppy with the PC. I checked, and I'm a stickler when it
comes to keeping everything when I purchase something
new.
 
You should create a ASR disk and update it periodically. It's too late now.
