I have a Intel Pentium Four Processor designed for Windows XP Home Edition. Can you Install other Versions of Windows even though the Processor is designed for Windows XP???

Yes. But, make sure you've got all the device drivers for the hardware (for the Operating System you wish to install). Note that some OEMs don't provide drivers for the other OS than preinstalled.

Yes. The "designed for Windows XP" thing is just Marketing Speak.

Sure. And also other non-Windows operating systems.

"Designed for Windows XP" doesn't really mean anything; it's all
just marketing.

If your using an emachine w2040 windows me works better that windows
98se. I have a dual boot bettween 98se & xp. However, I use 98se
alot. I would use windows me, but programs I use need windows 98se
or less.

However, some windows 95 os may not work. Dos will (without sound)/

Those processors will run any version of Windows, as well as some other
Operating systems (notably Linux).
