Please can someone tell me an EASY way to find out what my
administrator code is for Windows XP. I am trying to repair
some files from the XP disk and it is asking for this code,
I have no clue how/where to find it from.

Can anyone help? If yes, please keep it simple as Im not
good @ these sort of things.

many thanks

If you mean administrator password - and you didn't
create one try not entering anything for the password.
Most computers from the factory have a blank password for
the administrator account.

Chances are you mean "Administrators Password"

If you didn't setup an Administrators Password then when it asks for a
password when booting from the cdrom just press enter. If that doesn't work
then you did set an Administrators Password and you just don't remember. If
this is the case do a search in this newsgroup in the last 2 months - the
same question was addressed by Nathan.

I will reference the same website in this case:
http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm

I believe you are asking about the administrator's password, but if you
mean your CD Key code, that is totally different. This can be found on
the outside of your computer case, possibly inside your owner's manual,
or some other location.
