Windows XP Add/Remove Windows Components

I wonder whether anyone can help me pse with an XP problem
that I have?

Whenever I attempt to access Windows XP Add/Remove Windows
Components through the Control Panel, I get the following
error message:

"Set up was unable to open info file msnmsn.inf. Contact
your systems administrator. The specific error code is 0x2
at 2011777033"

Can anyone pse advise on how I can resolve this
difficulty. I suspect that I may have to re-install
Windows XP but am hoping that there may be an easier
solution.

you should be able to run a repair with your windows boot
disc. also try a system restore if you have not had this
problem before.
