Windows XP activation

I have re-loaded my windows xp home edition after i had
to replace the motherboard and hard drive due to a power
surge. There is a pop-up at the start up that says that
i need to activate windows xp. When I click the pop-up
it says that it has already been activated. However,
when I restart the computer it says that it still needs
to be activated and at the end of the 30 days it shut me
out completely. I cannot seem to find a number to call
at Microsoft to help and the OEM cannot help me either.
Any suggestions?
