Hi everyone,

I am running Windows XP Pro 64 Bits, with AMD Opteron CPU(which is 64bits
compatable), 4GB Kingston RAM, but it is only showing 3GB in Windows System
Properties(right click on "My Computer" and select "properties"), but 4GB in
BIOS.

I tried the article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;283037, with no luck.

However, it is showing 4GB of "Total Physical Membory" if I go to
"Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Information".

I also run a diagnotic tools called "Sandra" from "SiSoftware LTD", it
showing only 3GB is available as well.

Show I am quite confuse now. Has anyone come across this problem before?

Thanks

BTW, I am using MSI K8N Master-FAR motherboard and I have disabled the H/W
memory hole remapping, because it was showing not full 4GB rather 3.9GB of
RAM in BIOS. I tried to locate if there is Software memory hole settings,
but I couldn't find any.
