Hello,

I'm configuring a custom box which I want to install Windows XP. The
motherboard and processor will run 64bit. My question is; can I install
Windows XP 32bit on 64bit hardware?

Thanks,

Yes, no problem at all. However, bear in mind that you will derive no
benefit from the hardware's being 64-bit. It will run just like a
32-processor at the same speed.

If your 64-bit hardware will run 32-bit software - and I think that's
pretty standard now - then yes. You'll get no benefit from your 64-bit
hardware that way, of course.
