windows wont open on my browser

I need help! When I try to open additional windows with
my browser, they dont open right up. They open on the
taskbar, you have to right click on it, and select
maximize. Sometimes, I cant open them at all. I have
looked through all the internet settings and cant find
where to stop this. Does anyone have any ideas?

This isn't a setting, and in fact, isn't supposed to
happen. I honestly don't know what should be done about
this, but if it were happening to me, I would do one of 2
things:

1) reinstall IE
2) get avant browser (www.avantbrowser.com)

Avant runs off the IE scripting files so you need to leave
IE installed if you choose this option. The browser is
free, uses less resources, tabs windows in the browser
rather than on the taskbar, & has it's own popup blocker

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
