Do you actually get the Blue Screen of Death when you boot to safe mode?
Because that's unusual. If you can get to safe mode Restore back to a
previous date using System Restore. If you can't get to your system in Safe
Mode then, barring any other ideas from this group, I believe you'll need to
reinstall XP.
Actually the Blue Screen on pops up, and very quickly,
after I choose normal or last good settings and then it
just pops up for a second and then reboots. If I use the
safe modes it just reboots.
your hardware has changed so much that windows no longer
has the correct drivers installed on the hard drive.
using your windows xp install cd boot to the cd and do a
repair install.
change your bios to boot from cd as the first boot option.
