Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor

i cannot run the vista upgrade advisor. within 10 sec. of starting the scan
the window that pops up closes and sends me back to the start page.

I have dell dimension 8400 running XP media center 2002 sp2 on a 144GB hard
drive with 2gb of ram

With this configuration, I would suggest not spending any time on the
Vista Upgrade advisor. Your hardware is compatible and you should have
not problems in installing any edition of Windows Vista.
