I read the requirements for the Family Plan and it states that it requires a
RETAIL version of Windows Vista Ultimate but I wanted to find out if this
includes the Digital Distribution version of Windows Vista Ultimate through
the Windows Marketplace (through circuit city)? Its basically a retail disc
including all the boot options if I were to burn it to a disc.
There are no discounts for getting it through there and you pay the same as
the physical disc but does it still qualify for the Family Plan offer for
Ultimate users?
I have tried to use the family plan offer but I get "No Offer Found" when
submitting my key to try to purchase it and was worried that my version
doesn't count as a RETAIL. I would hate to think i screwed myself regarding
this :/ I didn't see the exact requirements and most of what I knew about
this plan came off of news sites which weren't too exact about how it would
work. They just said Ultimate Users purchasing an upgrade or full install
being released on Jan 30. Nothing about Retail (physical DVD) versions.
