I have installed Windows VISTA Home Premium on my Notebook 2 days ago and
activated the Windows. Now I have installed the Software in my Desktop and
want to transfer the License from the Notebook to this PC. How can I do this?

You obviously haven't activated it on your desktop yet, because activation
would be refused with the comment 'product key in use.' You will need to
physically remove Vista Home Premium from your laptop. Once that is done you
will need to activate the copy on your desktop. Now as I have already
stated, activation will be refused because the product key is already in use
(you activated it on your laptop), so when you activate on your desktop
choose the 'telephone' option. Call the activation line (it is a toll free
number). This is an automated line and because it is automated activation
will probably be refused again; however, go through the procedure. One the
automated procedure has completed *don't* hang up, stay on the line and you
will be put through to a 'real' person. Explain what you have done and the
support technician should be able to activate windows on your desktop for
you.

Assuming a retail license (OEM licenses are not legitimately
transferable), simply remove Vista from the computer it is currently on
and then install it on the new computer. If it's been more than 120
days since you last activated that specific Product Key, the you'll most
likely be able to activate via the Internet without problem. If it's
been less, you might have to make a 5 minute phone call.
