Hey All,
Is anyone have this problem. It seems that with Vista and MS
inteli-mouse optical when you click on anything
alot of the times it does a false double click. Using the mouse on a XP
machine works fine.

Any Ideas

Thanks
Mark

Adjust the double click speed.

Hmm, That was the 1st thing I tried. It seems it dont matter where the
double click speed is set at.

Thanks Jeff, Installed that already. I guessing that is why I am getting
this weird behavior with the mouse...

lol
well, go figure!!!
an update for Vista from MSFT for its own hardware causing issues!!!
lol

I had to remove the 6.1 intellimouse driver. It was causing all my cad/cam
apps to "jump" like crazy. I reverted back to 5.5. Drop the modified .ini
file to install in vista.

drop the modified .ini onto the oemsetup.msi file is what I meant to say.
create an "intellipoint.ini file with these lines in it:
[MOUSE]
LANGUAGE=1033
DEVICE=COM3000
SHORTCUTS=0
PS2=2

Is anyone still having his problem. I'm now using Intilimouse61 software
and still have the same problem with the double click

Thanks
Mark

The same Results with Windows XP, and the current driver.
