I have an Intellimouse Explorer 3 usb (optical) that I am using on my Vista
business machine. I have installed the latest Intellipoint software. Vista
continually (and randomly) reads single clicks as double clicks. I have
checked all mouse settings and they are correct for single click mode. I
have tested the mouse on several Win XP boxes and this problem does not
occur, so I am pretty sure that it is not the mouse. I do not have another
Vista machine to test on to confirm that the problem is vista. I have tried
a standard usb ball mouse (dell usb) on the vista machine and have not had
the problem. But when I go back to the optical mouse the problem begins
again. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
