Windows Vista Backup DVD?

i just got my self a new laptop with Win Vista Prem (pre-installed), and,
with a dvd labled windows anytime upgrade.
i just wanted to try out other operating systems (dual boot), but was
concerned if something goes wrong would i be able to do a clean install from
the "windows anytime upgrade" dvd?

thanks.. ill start playing around with the laptop quietly confident, that if
hings dont work i have that safety net of a clean start
