I installed Vista Business on my computer... Didn't activate because I was
ensuring the system was stable...didn't want to waste my key if the build
failed... well it ended up working fine...
So I install Office...then Activate office to begin using it. After office
activation I get a notice saying my copy of vista is not genuine (I forgot to
activate it.) The system won't let me go into system properties to start the
manual activation... I rebooted and it wouldn't let me in without
activation...which was ok...so I activated...
Everything seems to be fine except on the bottom right of my screen it says
I'mnot using a genuine copy of windows even though I am (I am an MCP and have
the action pack and have nowhere near used up my 10 licenses...more like 3
for testing).
If there's anything I can do to fix that little message on the bottom saying
my copy is not genuine would be nice. Oh Almost forgot, the activation
online on Internet Explorer doesn't work...IE7 freezes whenever trying to
activate. Anyways...Microsoft should fix that code so it doesn't happen to
anyone else.
Sincerely,
Milton
