I don't have the ATI drivers installed because of the problem. The Windows
has installed the default driver VgaSave, but incorrectly. The device manager
shows an
resource conflict with VIA CPU to AGP2 controller.

I have no idea how to fix this? The Windows will not let me to change the
resource settings.
The ATI catalyst installer will not start because it complains about the
same resource conflict.

How can I fix the resource conflict?

Try reinstalling you VIA motherboard drivers.......specifically your GART
driver
The PCI slot next to the AGP card should be empty.
