Windows updates

Hi,

I have a problem with Windows updates on a laptop
connected to a network in that I am having difficulty
with the button links failing to operate. I can select
the items I want to install but cannot get the install
button to do anyting. I have the same problem on a wired
or wireless link

I have no problem with other sites sing the laptop and
have no problem using the MS update site with a desktop
PC.

Can anbody offer a slution?

When attempting to access Windows Update, the page that directs you to update
your Windows Update software appears. Clicking "Update Now" results in the
same page being displayed, making it impossible to perform the update.
