Windows Update (v4?)

Can somebody help me, I replaced the "v4" w/ "v5" on the
windowsupdate.com address and now i cannot be directed
back to version 4 of windowsupdate.com. I tried to clear
the history, cache files and even the cookies, i even
tried deleting the object(s) downloaded to view
windowsupdate.com and even deleting the Windows Update
folder in Program Files. nothing helped... can somebody
help me out here? thanks.

Try opening internet options,settings,view objects,then delete v5.

I don't see anything that has the "v5" or anything

related like that.
