Windows Update Slow Install

I've just done a clean install of Windows XP Home SP-1 and ran Windows
Update, I've updated all the Drivers and Critical Patches which are 22MB,
downloading them takes 15 Mins and the install Progress takes around an
hour, this has never been this slow before??

Now that you have got it done then that is a good thing the critical updates
are only for your security and safety.

sentence ;-)
