Windows Update Repeatedly Requires the Same Critical Update

Even though I have downloaded and installed critical
update (KB835732)several times, every time I run Windows
Update it advises me to install (KB835732)
critical update again.

Am I installing incorrectly, do I do something
subsequently that reverses this update?

I have rebooted many times after the install.

Is (KB835732) a generic update?

What gives?

I've had the same problem with KB828741 since mid-April.
