KB835732 problem

Windows update downloads and installs the KB835732 fix and says it intalled
succecfully. 5min later windows update pops up and says the KB835732 fix
still needs to be installed. I have installed it, rebooted, and still it
comes up. Seems like a loop or something. The system is not infected with
sassar (that i can tell - no rebooting, and virus scans come up clean).
Whats up with this?

i have exactly the same problem. Also windows update
doesnt even give me the option to download xp sp2 !
