Windows Update -- Problem??

It's 4PM CDT and I'm attempting my monthly Windows XP Update thing. All goes
well up to the last update: the Malicious Removal Tool download. It stalls
at approximately 5% of the download. Is this something anyone else is
experiencing? Perhaps it's just temporary. When I try a re-update, it goes
well -- again except for the last download. Note: my broadband connection is
solid. Any comments on this? Thanks.

Do them one at a time, what happens? There is a windows update newsgroup
for WU issues:

Yikes!!! OK, I did have a real problem. But I just let it sit there for 15
minutes at 5% and finally it picked up and downloaded on its own. Note that
it happened only on this particular download and the long wait doesn't seem
right. But.... anyway, I apologize for the hasty posting. All is fine now.
