Windows Update Problem

Everytime i click on windows update it opens fine but it
wont scan, just says Checking for the latest version of
the Windows Update software... and it never scans, im on
Win2000 Pro with no updates because i just reformatted my
computer yesterday. Please help me, i want to update my
computer!!!

Hi Jared,

Go microsoft download and dirctly download sp4 & ie6 from there. Install
them and restart you computer, then try update again.

Will do, im getting the SP4 now and hopefully that will
work. Any more suggestions will be most appreciated

Don't forget the ms03-026 patch to prevent you from getting blasted.
