Windows Update Page not downloading

I have just purchased a new E-Machine laptop and I am
trying to update it from Windows UpDate web site. I am
using a high speed connection to do this with. I am able
to havbe is search my Laptop and then it will give me a
list of things that I need to download. But when I try to
get it wo download it will not let me do it. It will try
and then it will just say that it will not let me. Could
someone please tell me why this is? Or if you have any
suggestions. Please help.
