WINDOWS UPDATE KEEPS RELOADING AND RELOADING...

Hi,

Sorry if this was covered already but I am new to newsgroups...

My system:

Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 1

Gateway P4 2.4 GHZ with 512 MB

When I go to Windows Update it just goes to the page...

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

It gets to the page and just continuously loops but never loads...

I'm unable to visit the Windows Update site because of this constant
re-looping of the page.

Any idea what is going on and why and how I may correct this?

Disable your Discussion Bar in Internet Explorer:
1. On the "View" menu,point to "Explorer Bar".
3. Click "Discuss" to remove the check mark and disable this option.
