Windows Update gives error when I click "review and install"

When I go to Help and Support -> Windows Update, it scans for updates and
puts them in the list. When I click on any of the hot links (ie. review
and install updates, or "drivers" or "Windows"), I get the following error
on the next page:


Cannot display the page

The Web page you are trying to view cannot be displayed. It could be that
the page is no longer available, or that the Web site is currently offline.
Please try again later, or try another page.


Is there something wrong with my configuration? (obviously there is! But
what?)

Check to see if you have any pop-up ad blocker or firewall preventing
pop-up ads. Update uses the same techniques, and certainly was
inhibited by Zone Alarm Pro having its Privacy = Ad blocking on High
