Windows Update Error number: 0x80244001

Everytime I tried to scan the WU website for updates, I
get an error saying:
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot
display the requested page. You may find the following

To answer the original poster.

Go to Start --> Run and then type:

regsvr32 Msxml3.dl
