windows update email address

I have a new email address. Will Windows Update recognize that and continue
to update my PC automatically or do I have to change the address in some
settings area? If so, where do I change it?

Automatic Updates does not use an email address to keep your machine
patched.

Your email address has nothing to do with Windows Update. Your computer
will continue to update automatically unless you change the settings to
something else. See: right click on My Computer/Properties/Automatic
Updates tab.

The fact that your E-mail address has changed is completely
irrelevant, as far as Windows Update is concerned. Windows update
doesn't work via E-mail, and it neither needs nor uses your E-mail
address in any way at all.
