Windows Update don't work! Help

[NO Hope]

I am trying to run the "Windows Update" on my Win XP Pro but it is not
working. The browser hang there forever. When I go to Control
Panel>System>Automatic Updates tab, I got the following error (An exception
occurred while trying to run "Shell32.dll, Control_Run dll"
C:\Windows\system32\sysdm.cpl",system"). Any one can help me? Thank you.

I am having the same problem. Windows Update doesn't work it stall out. and
when I shut down my computer it gets stuck at the saving screen. Please
someone HELP.
