error in the display properties\screensaver\power window

I installedthe APC software for my ups and just uninstalled it. I still get
an error window when I click on the power button in the display settings.
exception error c\windows\system32\shell32.dll,control_run dll
powercfg.cpl,,"
Is there a way to fix this?
