I have two desktops running Windows XP on our home LAN and a laptop running
Windows XP connected to our WLAN.
I have mapped a network drive on the laptop to my NAS, where most of our
media files are stored. When connected, everything works fine.
However, after a reboot the network drive does not reconnect automatically.
I have to open My Computer and then double-click on the disconnected network
drive and then everything works fine again.
It seems like it is a boot-up timing-issue. Windows is trying to mount
network drive immediately on boot up even before my wireless connection is
fully established.
Is there something I can do to delay the mounting of this network drive for
about 5 seconds until the wireless connection is established?
