Windows thinks my IDE disk drive is a scsi drive

I was haveing a problem with my norton corporate anti-virus not scanning. When i check the drive C it said it was a scsi drive my cd rom was a scsi also. This may be two problemsbut i think the scurity on the drive won't allow the scan to run. If anyone has seen this problem before let me know. I would rather not format and reload.
 
look elsewhere. windows calls some ide interfaces scsi for some reason, but
they work fine. since that is a corporate edition you should have corporate
IT people to help you, or if you are the IT guy, try calling norton, you
paid good money for that and should get some support for it.
