Windows Text Size

Hello:

My boss got a new laptop and the minimum screen resolution keeps text too
small for her to read comfortably. We've gone through the diplay properties
and changed the text size for all the menus and title bars, but can't get the
window text display size to change. This is particularly problematic for
viewing her Inbox in Outlook. Is there a way to change the Window Text Size?
Maybe a system font change or something?

Thanks.

Hi Victoria,

While in the Appearance tab of Display Properties, did you click the
Advanced button, under Item, select "Active Title Bar". You will notice
that when the font is made larger the "Window Text" size changes also.
That should do what you want.

Report back,

Oops! In my last post, I forgot to state that after selecting the Item
"Active Title Bar", you change the "Font" "Size", not "Item" "Size" to
achieve what you want.

We tried that. The strange thing is that it will change the font color, but
not the font size, no matter how big we select. Is it possible there is
another control in Windows that is overwriting our selection?

Okay. I just tried it, and in programs nothing changed, so the example
isn't correct. So I just tried "Message Text" (in Message Box) and
changed the font size and all my open programs Window Text was made
larger. Hopefully this will work for you also.
