I was surfing last night and suddenly got the blue screen, the comp rebooted
and then i got stuck with this error message \windows\system32\config\system

it then goes on to say that I can attempt to repair the issue with teh
WIndows Setup Disc - however, my laptop came preloaded with Windows XP, so I
don't have a setup disc...I can find a download on the Microsoft website for
computers with nonbootable CD-ROM - however, mine has a bootable CD-ROM - is
there a download somewhere for that? the aforementioned download also says
it's going to need 6 floppies (i guess bc the cd-rom is
nonbootable...regardless, my laptop only has a cd/dvd drive) - anyway...any
suggestions? thanks!

You can get an iso image and burn it to a cd. You should find what you
need in the first results here:
