windows-switch key is now the windows-lock key?

Hi all I have an irritating problem with my XP PC at home.
Some IT wiz-kid at my work has disabled my windows-switch
key on my home PC the last time it went in for repairs.
When I want to switch users the PC gets locked. Were can I
change it back? Windows Help was now help.
Any general pointer to where I should look will be
appreciated.
