I just get an hourglass and cannot access anything.
Everything seemed ok (except the IE6 - "page can't be
displayed error). I tried the LSP fix and now I just get
an hourglass. Computer running VERY slow now. No viruses
present, ran a check and there are no viral signs when
viewing processes.
Any suggestions?

Trial & Error

Have you checked for Spyware? Your AV program will not
pick up Spyware related garbage. Also, is your Anti-
Virus program UP TO DATE?

AV is up-to-date. It wasn't at the time of the "glitch"
when IE6 stopped working....(but I'm dealing with that
issue in the IE chat section).

Can't access the internet to run spyware checkers or other
programs to detect these types of varmits. Looked in
computer processes, but don't see anything out of the
ordinary that is running.

Any suggestions?

thanks. I can download onto a disk from another computer
at work and take home to the 'infected' computer.

I'll give it a whirl!
