Windows Service Pack - 2. WIFI connection via netgear router is now erratic

I have a Netgear MR814 WIFI router that I use for internet access with
my laptop. It was working perfectly until I downloaded Windows Service
Pack 2.
Now I often get thrown off and have to reconnect. And when I am
connected, the icon in the taskbar often tells me I am unconnected.
All of this is with WEP encryption enabled. Just wondering if others
are having similar problems and if there is a known fix.

No, no problem on my system. Same router MR814 (V1) using WEP but no
effect after installing SP2 - it still works perfectly.
