Service Pack 2 - Help!!

Windows XP Home - Service Pack 1

I have service pack 1 and I am trying to download service pack 2 (so it is
more compatible with my sky wireless router). However, each time I download
it and then restart my pc I get the blu screen with a stop code error
message?? I do not know why this is happening as the service pack appears to
download fine, then it states the pc has to restart in order for the updates
to take affect, and then I get the dreaded blue stop screen, does anyone know
what is making it do this, SKY say I need service pack 2 for my wireless USB
Adaptor to work correctly?????

The stop code error can be looked up to figure out what the problem is.

A really good place to start would be mentioning the actual STOP code
itself.

I've found that it's more reliable to download the entire 260 meg SP2 file,
save it, and install from that.
