hi peeps

i ran a windows update the other day, and installed "windows search
4.0". ever since then every time i start my outlook 2007 it moans that
the data file was not closed properly and runs a check.

i have now uninstalled "windows search 4.0", but the error is still
there.

at the moment i am exporting my outlook data, then i am going to
delete my pst file, and create a new one, and then re-import my data
to see if this fixes it...

anyone else experienced this?

demon.

UPDATE: i finished exporting my outlook data, then i closed outlook,
then re-srtarted outlook and the error has gone! so, i seems just
exporting the data, seemed to have fixed it ?!?!

ps. i am running xp sp3.

That's not related. It was fixing itself in the background (2 gears in the
right bottom). Depending on the size of your pst-file this could take a
while. Your export took apparently long enough for Outlook to fix itself.
