Windows Resource Kit Subinacl bugs

Has anyone seen a later version of subinacl.exe, than the
one that comes with the W2K resource kit dated Dec 1999?
Apparently it has a bug in the way it orders ACLs see
article 296865.

I would like this version if someone knows where to find
it?
2.6.0.1399 shp 193,024 01-15-2002 subinacl.exe

I have tested the one that comes with the Windows 2003
resource kit version 4.0.1.1604, but it looks like it
doesn't work at all. It parses the command and does
nothing? Has anyone tested this one?

Any help appreciated.

I have this exact same problem. I've looked through every
single MS resource I have and I cannot find a later
version of Subinacl.

I have a feeling that the "newer" version listed in that
article doesn't actually exist. All MS staff posts on
this topic have recommended it's use, but have conviently
left out any information on how to actually find it.

The only recourse is a vb file, written by Microsoft, that
requires VB to be installed that should re-order this
ACE's properly.

Other than that, it's bye-bye to Inherit ACE's, and the
nightmares that will soon follow.

Good luck, if you find anything, please let me know.

That file is older, dated 1997. Thanks anyway. Maybe
someone from Microsoft could respond? Tried their Email
for the resource kits but never replied....
