W2K Resource kit?

I was looking for specifically "regback.exe"
and "regrest.exe". These apparently are part of the W2K
Resource Kit. Do these tools really help?

Where do I find this resource kit? Is it downloadable? I
can only find books on the subject.

They serve a purpose. But the backup part can be accomlished with
ntbackup.exe or 3rd-party tools like ERUNT. The restore part can
be done manually from the Recovery Console if necessary (and a backup
was previously made). RegRest and RegBack are well suited to batch
file use.

Parts of it are freely downloadable. Some tools only come with
the paid for version (check Amazon/E-Bay).
