Windows Repair

After hitting 'R' to start the repair.... I get the question of "Which
Windows installation would you like to log onto (to cancel, press ENTER)?
I entered 1
Next it asks for my password. When entered I get;

C:\WINDOWS>

Do you know how I would start the repair from here?

The short version?...Actually run the repair.
I just have tried everything else to view my emails, from hanging, but no
luck.

Yes Joy...I have an OEM version previous troubles with computer needed clean
install ..easy. This time I did not want to loose any info. In recovery
console I needed to enter setup before "R" repair.

Did you do the Repair Installation or did you use the console ?
