Windows remote server

When i set up my business email for windows remote server 1993, it does not
allowthe remote server access. Ihave been given https\\mail.desert.com.au as
my server. It is not recognised as pop and does not allow https addresses.
How do I acess, it is a windows remote server
 
I don't know what you mean by "windows remote server"..
But Windows Mail cannot access any webmail account.
If your webmail account doesn't also offer POP3 or IMAP access, then you
will have to use a web browser.
