Windows print problem

I discovered a horrible thing today ...

We have a terminalserver with various users from different customers.
These have printers mapped from their local computer. Today, one user
who had mapped a Richo printer tried to print, and the print job was
sent to a Lexmark printer on a totally different location.

The server is a win2003 - no SP.

Any clue how this may happen ?

Thanks

Set your settings to only load the main printer for the user. If they
have more than one printer it loads them all and chooses the default
aparently at random. This setting also reduces the CPU usage of the
terminal server.

Ok, but:

Worst case scenario:

Customer 1 is logging on in China, mapping his local printer (could be
a USB pritner or a network printer, they are mapped via RDP).
Then Customer 2, which is a direct competitor of Cust 1 logs on in
Europe, sends his documents to his printer, but they arrive at Cust 1's
printer in China.

It's not exactly what happened (they are not competitors:) but this is
the case.

It's pretty bad ... :S
