Was the attachment a PowerPoint file?
Was the attachment a PowerPoint file created by PowerPoint 2007?
Do you have PowerPoint 2007 or an earlier version?

I'm sorry, but I do not really understand what you are after :-( :-(

Does the attached file have the extension PPT wir PPS?
You'll see this if you left-clock in the attachment icon in the preview
(paper clip).

If so you need either PowerPoint installed or the "PowerPoint Viewer"
(free download from the MS Office website).
Do you have one if these (or both)?

P.S. Did you ask the sender what type of thing he attached?
