Windows Mail restarts when I open attachment

Hi!

Since few week I have a problem. When I open mail attachment, Windows Vista
Mail restarts in the middle sized window. In this case this attachment
already openable without any problem, but if I try with another mail, the
situation is as same. With simply mail (without attach. ) no problem at all.
Next day all attachment makes error again.
I use Vista (32 bit). On the machine runs NIS2008. An automatic live update
is enabled (on OS and prog. too). I tried Windows Live Mail, but that program
shows that bug too.
What can I do?

That is a known issue caused by a recent update to Norton antivirus.
There may be a newer update that corrects the problem, so
first try updating Norton. If no joy, uninstall and follow up with their
debris removal tool:
