hey everyone, i am running xp pro on asus pnd-4sli, with 4gb of ddr2 ram and
p4 3.2ghz. i recently had a motherboard problem so i had it replaced by asus,
i put everything together and everythying seems to work fine. however, for
some reason when i go to power options i dont see the option to put my system
in stand by. the option is just not there. did i do something wrong when
istalling windows. i dont think i made any mistakes in puting my pc back
together. after all, it didnt seem to be that difficult.

how would i get my system in stanby? i tried to run windows recovery
console, by i have no clue how to use it since it uses the old dos promts. (i
never used dos)

like i said the pc is running great, i have no probliems with it and am on
it right now.

what do i do.

please get back to me. my email is (e-mail address removed)

this is my school pc and i really need to give me no problems. not having
stand by is a problem for me since i am contstantly by my pc but do
occasionally leave it and having to have to shut it down all the time is a
hassle.

thanks in advance.
