I just installed Macromedia MX Studio 2004 on my laptop (XP Pro) and
Macromedia Fireworks has taken ownership of all the image file associations.
Previously, when I click on an image (JPG, GIF, BMP etc.) they open using
the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, which I like for just browsing my
images. A windows opened in Fimmstrip view and I could browse through the
images, when I double clicked one it opened in the Picture and Fax Viewer.
Now it no longer opens the folders in Filmstrip view - it just shows me
icons, and unless I customize the folder manually (as type Photo Album), I
can't use the Filmstrip view again.
The main problem however is that when I double click an image, they now open
in Fireworks - not Picture and Fax Viewer.
I do not want this to happen. How can I get it back to how it was without
rolling the system back to before I installed MX 2004 which I don't want to
do because I want this software on.
Thanks
